🗂️ Missions & the board
6 min read
The board is the answer to “what is my squad doing?” at a glance. Four columns - Backlog (queued, an agent will pick it up), In flight (being worked now, with a live status line on each card), Needs you (blocked on a ticket), Done. Cards carry priority, tags, comment count, and a staleness flag when something in flight hasn’t moved in two days.
Creating missions: the Home composer for quick ones (“send to squad” - the lead routes it), or + New mission on the board when you want to set priority, description, and assignee yourself. Missions created by schedules and agents (like the SEO watchtower filing opportunities) land here too - the board is the single queue for everything.
Inside a mission: the full progress trail (every status the agent reported, with links to any doc or email it touched), attachments, a comment thread - reply to steer the agent mid-flight - plus watchers, the token cost so far, and YOUR CALL actions when it’s blocked.
💡 Tip: Use priorities honestly: agents pick up Urgent first, and the “N need you / N done today” header keeps score. A board where everything is urgent is a board where nothing is.

Change of direction: [what changed]. Keep [what still applies], drop [what doesn’t]. If this invalidates work you’ve already done, say so and estimate the redo — don’t silently start over.
Archived and Trash tabs keep the board honest without losing history - archive what’s stale, restore anything later. My Tickets is the other tab up top, and it’s important enough to get its own article →
